The Syndicate of Fine Artists honors the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Luxor University

Artist Prof. Dr. Safia El-Kabbani, Head of the Fine Artists Syndicate, and the Syndicate’s board members, honored Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohie Hamza, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Luxor University. "Hamza" recently received the "Symbol of Nobility" medal from the Mayor of Sax in Alicante, Spain, where he was received in the VIP Hall and signed the city's Guest of Honor book.
Dr. Ahmed Mohie Hamza traveled to Spain as a jury member for the "Golden Feather" competition, following a ministerial decree issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
It is noteworthy that he has received more than 50 local and international awards and has represented Egypt in numerous international forums (Croatia, Italy, Japan, Bangladesh, Austria, Canada, Germany, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Syria, Ecuador, and Spain). Hamza graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo in 1997, then was appointed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Luxor in 1998. He progressed through the academic ranks until being appointed as a Full Professor in 2021.

Dr. Ahmed Mohie Hamza held several key positions, most notably Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, where he established the internal quality system. He then served as Head of the Graphic Design Department at Al-Qalamoon University in Syria from 2010 to 2012. Following this, he was appointed Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research from 2016 to 2021, and has served as the Dean of the Faculty since 2021 to date.
