With the participation of the Head of the Syndicate of Fine Artists.. Opening of "Extended Visions" Exhibition at Picasso East Gallery

Picasso East Gallery in the Fifth Settlement hosted the opening of the exhibition "Extended Visions," featuring 24 female fine artists, including Dr. Safia El-Kabbani, Head of the Fine Artists Syndicate. The exhibition will run until October 29th.

"Extended Visions" Exhibition

Dr. Nahed Abdel Moneim, Head of the Painting Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, stated following the opening of the "Extended Visions" exhibition for female painters of fine arts, that the idea of forming the association arose because faculty professors are preoccupied with teaching students throughout the year, which distanced them from the bustling and vibrant fine arts movement.

For her part, Dr. Safia El-Kabbani, Head of the Fine Artists Syndicate, stated that in her works for the "Extended Visions" exhibition, she relied on minimalism and the square format. She noted that despite the square being a challenging dimension—due to its equal length and width—it presents a particular difficulty in achieving a balanced, minimalist design.

Safia El-Kabbani explained that she relied on a surface featuring a variety of colors, reflecting a life full of diversity. Therefore, she chose orange, red, blue, and green, naturally incorporating the use of mosaic.
